Department Highlights
The department is accredited by NBA Accreditation for the fourth cycle from 2018 to 2025.
The department runs various programs: UG with an intake of 180, PG with an intake of 18 and Ph.D. programs.
Research facilities in department include PCBMATE Fabrication machine – To make a prototype PCB board and capability of processing various materials.
The students are exposed with MiniVNATiny Network Analyzer – Makes available a multitude of features and capabilities which are perfect for checking antennas and RF circuits.
Establishing cutting-edge research groups in areas like MEMS & Wearable Devices, Signal, Speech, Image & Video Processing, Reconfigurable Computing, Embedded systems & IoT, Low Power VLSI Design
Received seed funding for the research work titled Centralized Appliances Control Using Wireless Devices.
AICTE sponsored International Conference on Communication and Computing Technologies for Sustainable Development (ICCCTSD22) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering on 25-26 February 2022.
The department motivated the faculties to visit core industries periodically to reduce the industry-academia gap.
The students are also provided an opportunity to choose specialization electives to focus on their identified areas of interest.

The department has received NVDIA Jetson Nano Developer kits from NVDIA for effectively implementing AI, machine learning models.
