Center of Excellence – Finance
The Centre of Excellence for Finance (CoE) has been established in the year 2017 by SKCT-SoM for the development of faculty and students in the areas Accounting & Finance, Econometrics, Financial Markets, Financial Derivatives and Risk Management. In order to enrich the faculty and student knowledge business research software’s like SPSS, Excel, E-Views, Gretl and R software’s are available in CoE Finance. The objective of the centre is to provide industry-oriented practical
practical training in the areas of Stock simulation, Stock Trading, Financial Modeling, Mock Trading and Placement Training related to finance. The CoE-finance supports 60 students with individual computers. The outcome of this Centre of Excellence-Finance is to inculcate research knowledge in the areas of Stationarity Analysis, Descriptive statistics, Normality test, Time series analysis, Correlation, Cointegration, Causality, Forecasting by using Simple and Multiple Regression, ARIMA, ARCH, GARCH and financial data analytics.
